Overclocking biostar

Will not work on HP, Dell, Gateway, Toshiba, etc.This method may work on your motherboard but not all.FX-8350. I have a Biostar TA970 (not the XE). Some of the features that certain AM3+ guides mention aren't there in the BIOS, although I do see at least a few. I have just purchased the biostar ta970, hyper 212 evo, and an amd fx 8350.

I was looking to overclock and I know the cooler is good for it but the motherboard was my concern. I was curious if I could use my Biostar TA-970 (not the xe version) to overclock my fx-6300. Is it safe, possible, or even a good idea?sure its possible, just dont aim for 5ghz max clocks (bad idea in general) but you should be able to join the majority of peoples 24/7 clocks.
