The Russet cafe lies at the heart of Hackney Downs Studios.The daily cafe serves fresh, rustic, seasonal food and drink, alongside an eclectic programme of arts, music, film, theatre and cabaret.Like others said here, service is a bit inconsistent. Once they gave my order to someone else then I had to wait twice the time. THIS pizzeria opened up in Stoke Newington offering an authentic, Neopolitan take on an old favourite in 2015. Their oven was shipped over from Naples apparently, to provide tasty, flash-cooked pizzas with minimalist toppings, at reasonable prices.White Hart on Stoke Newington High Street has seemingly jumped in first and done it properly – creating a wonderfully leafy outdoor area in the process. A beautiful, vintage-style café serving yummy cakes and proper coffee. Great for brunch.Architect-designed Victorian flat on Dalston Stoke Newington border. Completely refurbished and extended in 2014. Double bedroom + double wall bed.
