GPU). With some luck you can boost gaming performance and frame rates by 20 % or more, making a previously unplayable game playable or allowing you to turn up the details in demanding titles. There is usually little risk involved, but you have to be aware that by tweaking the hardware settings you are stressing the components beyond their specifications. I show you guys how you can overclock your laptop gpu or graphics card by using the software Sapphire Trixx. We also talk about the safe temperatures for your gpu during overclocking.Overclocking refers to increasing the operating specifications for a component in your laptop.
When you overclock your laptop's graphics card, you receive greater performance and a faster frame rate. I am using my Fujitsu LH530 Laptop for 4 years. in the past i played great games like prototype, Darksiders, and other high level games.
How to Overclock Your Laptop's Graphics Card - Instructables
GPU overclocking without overheating, making the employed lock unwarranted. It would be interesting to know what really pushed the company towards such a step - was there an unusually high number of warranty claims from overclockers accidentally overheating their cards or is there another reason? Either way, we fully expect Nvidia's rival, AMD, to take full advantage of the situation.
Nvidia gives you the opportunity to easily overclock your graphics cards. This feature exists is available for most of the recent (mid-range, high end) NVIDIA graphic cards.A notebook-desktop graphics disparity has generally relegated portables to custom, low-performance silicon when matched against desktop alternatives. The limitation is almost entirely tied to the thermal and energy limitations sanctioned by a small box – especially for laptops aiming for a sub-1” thickness. Well I have a laptop and am sure that quite a few of you guys have one too.
So I propose a Laptop OC record and primarily advice database.

CPUs and GPUs has never been supported as widely as overclocking desktop CPUs and GPUs, for what should be obvious reasons. People who are really serious about overclocking use big fancy custom air coolers or some kind of liquid cooling to keep their chips from overheating, and getting a high-but-stable overclock requires careful tuning and stress testing. It remains to be seen how other notebook vendors react to Nvidia’s initiative to ban overclocking of its notebook GPUs. If MSI and a couple of other suppliers re-activate support of overclocking in their laptops, they will get a competitive advantage over those, who do not.
Nvidia has removed the ability of users to overclock their GeForce GTX 900M series GPU equipped laptops in a recent driver update. The driver in question is the GeForce R347 driver (version 347.29). Before the update users of the laptops in question had no problems overclocking or even underclocking their GPUs.
How to overclock my Nvidia GPU 820M in my laptop - Quora
Overclocking a laptop potentially breaks warranties, causes issues, destroys hardware and generally ruins that lovely laptop you dropped several hundred dollars to buy. Best advice I can give here: Overclocking is VERY risky. When computer components are designed, they are made to run at a certain speed, otherwise known as their clock and bus speeds. These limits are not actually limits. Overclocking your GPU is always a risky business, ekeing out a little more power from your graphics card at the expense of extra heat and stability. Even in a water-cooled desktop mega-rig it can burn out your graphics card, but in a laptop it's even more difficult to pull off without causing damage to your machine.
I have a laptop (HP) and my question is should i overclock it and if yes by how much and upto how much should i go. Originally my cpu temperatures go to like 40 to 45 c. so if i overclock it a little more they should go up to like 50 to 55. Depending on my temperature i can set the defaults.
