Kingston HyperX 8GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 CL9 Desktop Memory Models. My first post was basically the same model, just the wrong GB size.Kingston HyperX Black 8GB 1600MHz modules running at their XMP setting of 9-9-9-27, this is their highest stock (before any overclocking) speeds. As you can see from the chart above this puts the HyperX Black modules in a pretty underwhelming position. Thus, overclocking is where the Kingston HyperX 1600MHz must drive home an advantage. By achieving 1,866MHz to the Ballistix's 1,600MHz, it finally gets its nose in front.
I cleaned my computer and fans, overclocked the cpu to 3.8 ghz and was able to set the timings manually.
Overclocking Kingston HyperX Fury - Overclocking - Overclocking
Kingston HyperX Fury memory kit has left us in awe: these are now our favorite memory kits for daily use. Simple to use, stylish, easy to overclock and budget-friendly.
The Kingston HyperX Fury series includes 1333, 1600 and 1866 MHz grades. Since Kingston only manufactures 4GB and 8GB modules, the largest capacity Fury kit is 2 x 8GB (16 GB), and we have the high end 1866 MHz kit in the lab. Kingston HyperX DDR3 ram that runs at 1600Mhz and has the low voltage requirements of the Corei5 system. In my time with this set of ram I’ve found that it easily overclocks to almost 2000Mhz and it will even run at a lower latency.
Genesis, PnP (plug and Play), LoVo (Low-Voltage), Predator, Beast, and H20 series. They have recently released a new series, Fury.

HyperX Fury automatically overclock themselves “within the system speed allowance” without any manual BIOS tuning. In a bid to enable this technology, Kingston had to include additional settings into modules’ SPD [serial presence detect] chips, from where the systems’ BIOS could read them.
I will quickly cover it before moving onto the meat of the conclusion. In short, the only thing you can change is tighten the latencies from 9-9-9-27 to 9-9-9-24. Other than that, there is not enough headroom to take it one step up to DDR3-1866 at 1.65V. With that in mind, does the Kingston HyperX brand still hold a special place in my heart as a signature of elite performance and quality? I will be absolutely honest with you.

Kingston HyperX Black 8GB 1600MHz Memory Review - pcGameware
The Kingston HyperX Savage DDR3 memory module features a unique asymmetrical aluminum red heat spreader with diamond cut finish and black PCB. The heat spreader is a low profile type resulting in a height of just 32.8mm. Kingston HyperX T1 kit was performed on a Sandy Bridge platform with P67 chipset. We remind the reader that within this architecture Intel has abandoned the uncore denomination (anything that is not core), which also included the L3 cache in Nehalem, in favor of System Agent, which is practically a NorthBridge integrated into the CPU. Our experience with 1600 MHz kits in the past has been a mixed bag, some don’t move much or at all.
While others are powerhouses waiting to be unleashed.
